Insider Access and the Cementafuture team were thrilled when eco entrepreneur Max McMurdo agreed to give a Master Class on the 9th October 2012, to prisoners in HMP Maidstone. Following a stunning session which engage over 37 prisoners, Max agreed to contribute a monthly column to Insider Access. This column will be edited and its pages creatively produced, by our volunteer team of ex-offenders in the community.

Max's national fame dates to his appearance on BBC's Dragons' Den [Series 5], which resulted in investment from Deborah Meaden and Theo Paphitis. Max’s company "reestore" take everyday waste objects and playfully upcycle them into beautiful accessories and functional pieces of furniture.
